How can ad's be displayed on my blog, without my permission?

  Hi,
  I had emailed some ad agency’s regarding getting paid for ad’s on my blog. But they said the views were too less. They are looking at 500 K views. Whereas mine is just about 1K ..

  Today as I was going through my blog, without logging in, i saw a pop-up add (by gravity) just under my new post..

  How is this showing? Wouldnt i get paid for an ad on my blog?

  If you have not paid for the No Ads upgrade, you have ads on your blog by default. WP.com takes the revenue from these ads in exchange for giving you free hosting.

  You should stop your outreach to ad agencies. Blogger-initiated advertising is banned here and will get your blog suspended.
