How can blind users find out what's in WP's inaccessible graphics like #8 creati
-
I’m blind and can’t access a graphic in WP instructions for making a static homepage.
I use the popular screen reader Jaws to access Word Press. It seems that some instructions are inaccessible to blind bloggers.
On the support page describing how to make a static homepage :
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
there seems to be missing information after #8. This is what my screen reader can access.

8 seems to suggest that there will be a list of options and something to show how they are to be set, but no such info is accessible.

I’m very sorry the information isn’t accessible – it’s a screenshot.
The settings should be:
Next to “front page displays” – select the “a static page” radio button.
Set the drop-down menus as follows:
Front page – Home
Posts page – PostJust let me know if you need further assistance.

Hiya – the page you want is in your administration area under Settings > Reading – here’s a direct link:

If you need any help setting it up, just let me know.
