How can display only summaries on home page instead of entire article?

  Here is my blog http://evilepisodes.com

  I use the Coraline theme, and in the “reading” settings, I have the box “display summary” checked off.

  I know sometimes with wordpress, certain settings override or cancel out other settings, so I am wondering if there is something I am missing.

  When I posted reviews, they can be lengthy and I’d rather not have the entire review displayed on the home page which means it will be a lot of scrolling to get to the next article.

  Can anyone help me? Thanks!

  Thanks auxclass! The summary option in my theme clearly doesn’t work but your suggestion = just what I wanted to know.
