how can I access the old classic editor?
-
I’m used to the classic editor and hate the new Reader. While posting my latest text I discovered that I cannot switch to the old classic editor anymore, I can access the classic editor only from the old WP Administration menu. Why is WP forcing me to use the new Reader?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,

You can still reach the classic editor by going to the WP Admin Dashboard; however, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor.

I suspect that I’m not the only one who prefers the classic editor. Would it be really that difficult to choose the preferred editor in the settings, so that the user is not bothered with making various additional steps while editing a post?
The classic editor works perfect for me and I don’t even want to try the new editor. As I wrote in my initial message, I hate the Reader and everything connected with it, I don’t like the design and the graphic gimmicks, it looks like a smartphone app and not like a serious working tool..

We recommend that you at least try the new editor. If you have feedback feel free to provide it as we continue to improve the new editor.
Cheers!

Thank you for your very helpful advice. I’ll indeed try something new — a new blog host.
