How can I accommodate multiple authors?

  I’m posting contributions by multiple authors. They don’t have access to the site – I do the editing & posting. How can I list them, and not me, as the authors?

  You’ll need to add these folks as users on your blog: http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

  But don’t they have to sign in & post the stuff themselves to appear as authors and not me?

  Yes, it looks like I have to invite them and they have to set up a WP account. That’s not what I want to do.

  As I said in my original question, I’ll be posting the material. So it sounds like I can’t do what I want.

  Yes, they’ll need to actually be users on the blog to be selectable as authors.
