How can i add a html code?

I’m trying to add a chat room to my page but everytime i add it, it appears as text not the actual chat room. Does anyone know how to add it?

You cannot use that code on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.
You can’t install chatroll widget. At present there are no chatboxes available, I am aware of, that can be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access and we cannot install a chatboard, chatboxes or forum plugins for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ They are only for WordPress.org installs and can’t be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You can register a forum on the internet and then create a custom menu in your blog and include a custom link to the forum in it.
