How can I add a link to a Facebook Group to my blog?

    I can’t figure out a way to add a footer widget with a link to a Facebook Group that is related to my blog but authored by another person. Nancy’s Green Thumb Brigade at https://www.facebook.com/groups/701744439866080/ is the newly created Facebook group page.

    I’ve tried the footer widget, no way to add the FB icon. I’ve tried to do the FB badge, but because I’m not the “owner” of the Group, my personal account came up but didn’t give me the option of adding the group. Can you assist?

    Hey Cathy,

    I’ve done some digging and experimenting. Currently, it doesn’t look like it’s possible to embed a badge or Facebook box for a Facebook Group. It is possible for profiles and pages however. There are two main options:

    1. If you’re referring to a page or a profile, you can integrate it with your blog through several methods (requires ownership or admin status of the blog or page):

    2. If you would like, you can download a copy of the Facebook logo and add it to your Media Library. Then, you could place it in your sidebar using the Image Widget:
