How can I add a picture in a category?

I am using categories and the page does show a header where I could have a picture:
http://ilovemedotnl.wordpress.com/category/relationship-2/
But In the category box I can not add one. I have searched online but can only find plugins, that don’t work with wordpress.com. Can anyone help me? Thanks!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you say category box, do you mean the Categories Widget in the Sidebar?

Yes, I went to menu and added the categories to my menu. Now when clicking on one of these categories, you get a page with all the blogs falling in that category. I would like to add a picture to that page, but when going Posts -> categories, you can only write a description, not add a picture. I did find this link, https://wordpress.org/plugins/categories-images/ .. but not sure how to work that…
