How Can I Add A Post-Category As A Page?

So I’ve seen many magazine/blog type websites with WordPress use pages to more categorize their article/posts. They will have a tab that says ‘Romance’ or ‘Travel’ and all blog posts/articles that are tagged with that category automatically updates on those pages. Right now, I have a page that is very disorganized with all posts from the start just as a list view that isn’t sorted by category. I am not sure how to master this as I know categorizing as pages for each topic would be easier and more efficient for readers looking for a specific topic. How can I accomplish this?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hey there,

Many thanks for reaching out and happy to guide you on this.

I think the best place to start would be to decide how you want to categorise the content, and if you want to categorise it at all.

With the approach you mentioned above, usually entails a set number of categories that are displayed in the menu, and this is to keep the menu from becoming unruly. Do you think it’s possible to keep categorise to a reasonable number?

I’ll happily listen to the ideas you might have and help to guide you! :)
