How can I Add Advertisng To my website

  I would like to try and monetize my blog to help self-maintain it by using Amazon associates but for some reason it will not allow links via text or photos. I have paid for my domain name but how can I earn the right to monetize my site as well. I appreciate you taking your time to answer this question. Thank You In Advance!

  If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
