How can I add an email sign-up box to my blog?

    Hi

    I cannot find a related post on this. I am wanting to add an email sign-up box to my blog. How do i do this? Also, does anyone know if/how I can add a menu bar to my blog so it can help users browse easier?

    Depends on your definition of “email sign-up box”.

    The Subscription widget will allow people to subscribe to your blog via email.

    If you want them to sign up for a newsletter that you email them, I would use a special Page for that and a Contact Form, or you can use a sidebar widget with a click to an external page at, say Google Docs, where they can sign up.

    That’s the oldest theme in the entire WordPress directory that you’re using. Newer themes tend to have tabbed headers, and there’s a trick to make a tabbed header on themes that don’t have them, but I don’t think it works on that theme. Seriously, you’d be better off choosing a different theme.
