How can I add featured images to posts and pages using Chateau theme?
-
I have read your help notes about adding a featured image to posts and pages but I can’t work out why some images will be featured images in one post but not on another. I have tried and tried to solve this and I don’t believe that the size of the image is the issue.
If you have a look at my page, you can see that for the heading article titled – Girlfest Girls Go Wild you see there is a featured image, however when I try to add one for other articles – either the post – The first night we met or the About page, featured image just doesnt’ work and I’ve completely lost my patience with it.
I don’t want all posts and pages to have the image within the post – I think the site will look better if the layout changes to suit the text.
Help!!!
thanks
Helen

Hi Helen,
If you want to add a featured image to an individual post that acts as a unique header image, it will need to match the size of the header image specifications for Chateau. This means you’ll want the image to be at least 960 x 260 pixels:
