How can i add my theme to WordPress.Com ?

  Hi,

  I am the Author of WordPress.org and has a theme “Canyon” listed in the WordPress.org directory.

  I want to become Author at WordPress.com as well, but unable to find any proper guidance. So please help me,

  • How can i become Author at WordPress.com?
  • Is there any extra Guidelines other than WordPress.org?

  First off, read the link that the supportbot gave on the differences between wordpress.COM hosted sites and wordpress.ORG self-hosted sites.

  To set up a site here all you need to do is register a blog, but please be aware of the restrictions here. While logged into your account here, go to https://en.wordpress.com/signup/ and you can register a blog.

  We cannot add themes at wordpress.COM. We are limited to the 170+ (and growing) themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  Themes at wordpress.COM have to be modified to work within the restrictions here and to support the unique features.

  The differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org (self-hosted) sites.

  But i want to submit my own theme to the WordPress.com just like at WordPress.org. Or simply i want to become Theme Author here.

  Yes, You are right, i cannot upload my theme on blog at WordPress.com. But 170+ (and growing) themes belong to some companies or individuals who have showed there participation here, and these themes are in use of thousands of blogs here.

  So again, how can i submit my theme here, so it will be beneficial for others ?
