How can I add new Categories ?

Hello, I have a small problem. I want to add the second “Categories” widget in the sidebar and after I do that I see that the new “Categories 2” contains exactly the same pages as “Categories 1” but I can’t delete them because it deletes the posts from “Categories 1”. What can I do to have different posts here in “Categories 2” ?

You can’t. None of us have figured out why there are multiple categories widgets when they all show the same thing.

I see. Too bad, it would be great to have multiple categories but not with the same content.

Categories don’t appear till you use them on a post. Once you put them in posts, they’ll appear in the categories widgets automatically, so you don’t need the text widget.

But you’ll have to take the categories widget itself down, or they’ll show up in two places.

Yes .. this is my 2 cts feedback… why can’t we segregate different types of posts into different Category widgets? So then,… wat is the purpose of having different category widgets?
