How can I add new users when the user button is deactivated?

I’m trying to add new authors to my site but the button on the right bottom corner is deactivated (It’s grey and I can’t click on it.) How can I add new users to the my current site? Is there a limited number of people I can invite?

You can invite the users from your WordPress.com dashboard.

Make sure to set the user’s role depending on your requirements.

Usually there’s a limit of 10 invites at a time. Once some of the people you have invited accept their invitation you should be able to send more invitations.
If that wasn’t it please let us know and we’ll mark this thread for staff attention.

Thank you for the replies but I’m afraid that wasn’t the problem that I was facing. The invites were working fine but I’m completely blocked from giving out any more invites. It’s not that I tried to invite more than 10 people at a time but the button that used to be blue that would allow me to click and send out the invitations has turned grey and I can’t seem to click it.

I’ve checked americanicons123.wordpress.com and both the “Invite” and “Send Invitations” buttons are working for me. Are you having trouble sending invites to any email address or just one in particular?
Just let me know and we can go from there.
