How can I add posts in chosen categories without them show on homepage?
-
I currently use the Hueman template for one of my sites. And whenever I post articles that I only want to show in certain categories of my site, they appear on my homepage simulatenously, which I don’t want. How can I correct it so that my frontpage remains unchanged and all new posts to only appear in the categories I choose?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So it looks like I have to create a new page, then assign it as the static homepage. But what if I want to make my existing homepage static, so that all future posts only show in their designated categories?

You can not change a posts page into a static page. Which website are you referring to? Is a WordPress.com site? Your membership is new (May 7th in my timezone), and https://guywhoneedshelp.wordpress.com/ is evidently a new site, created on the same day, and has only the default content. Correction: “We can’t assist people with questions regarding self-hosted WordPress.org websites here.”

This is my website and it is a wordpress: http://www.onlinecasinos.fm. As you can see, it is paramount that I keep my current homepage due to the features that I cannot duplicate to a new page (without my web designer’s involvement).

I’m not sure what you mean by self-hosted WordPress.org websites. I changed my homepage to static but the new posts still appear at the top rather than just in their designated categories, and I need help on how to fix this.
