How can I add posts to my portfolio (not projects)?

    Hello,

I only just started using the portfolio feature. Is there anyway I can take my posts and display them as portfolio projects? I can’t see a way now to publish a post I’ve written as a portfolio project. But maybe it’s at least possible to add a new project with a featured image and when you press that image on the portfolio screen, it links you to a post.

I realize I can add a new project and have the same text as in a post, but posts have featured images as headers in my theme and I would like to keep them. If I post them as projects, the featured image is smaller and only shows on the portfolio page.

    Any ideas?

    Hi!

Posts and portfolio items are completely separate. So, unless you duplicate the post and publish it as a portfolio item as well, there isn’t a way to have posts also displayed under your portfolio.

One option would be to create a post explaining the project a bit more. Then, create a portfolio item with a featured image. Within the text of the portfolio item, you could link to the post and say something like “Read more about this project!” or something similar. Would that work?

    Hi again.

Thanks for the response! I’ve realized that a grid feature for pages is more what I needed. I found a great way to do that so problem solved.

Thanks for your quick response and for trying to help!
