  Here are the directions to add shoutmix to your blog, although the code includes iframe so it might not work here (wordpress.com) this might only work on wordpress.org. You can try though. http://www.shoutmix.com/main/help.php?view=Guides/wordpress

  We have a Meebo widget you can add which gives you live chat features for your blog as an alternative.

  Nope, won’t work at wp.com
