How can I add the Follow widget to the top of a post and my home page?

The current bottom right position for the Follow the Blog via email widget is too hidden. I would like it to be more prominent on each post as well as the home page. How can I make this change? Many thanks, Michael

Editing any template is not possible period. This is a multi-user blogging platform. That means all blogs wearing the same theme are using the same template which only Staff can access and edit as every edit affects every blog wearing the same theme. You either purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade so you can edit only the appearance only, or you accept the themes as is, or you select another theme.
