How can I add the RSS feed icon to the sidebar of my blog?

  I’d like to add the RSS icon to the sidebar of my blog… so readers can click on it to subscribe to my posts. How can I add that icon? I think I have to use the “text widget” and add some HTML code. Is this correct? And if so, where can I get the HTML code?
