How can I add TWITTER Follow Me?

I have a wordpress.com account and I tried using the Twitter widget but all that does is display my Tweets. I want people to be able to FOLLOW ME on Twitter.
Any suggestions?

Yes. Find a “follow me on twitter image” on the net, save it to your desktop, upload it into a draft post and link it to your twitter username. Then copy and paste the contents into a text widget. Go back and delete the draft post. Or use an image widget.

or you can go directly to the twitter site, and on the bottom of
twitter theres a small menu.. one of the buttons says “Goodies” click it and it takes you to
a page with the “follow me” buttons on it. You pick the one you want
and then you copy the code and put it in a text widget on your sidebar.see my blog for example,
