How can I added a text file to the root of my WordPress site?

  I need to add a apple-app-site-association file so our WordPress content can be opened within our app.

  Is there anyway this can be done? Either via a plugin or manually by a support person?

  Hi there,

  This is not possible on WordPress.com. To follow those instructions you need server-access to your site, and we do not provide that access here.

  If you create a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software you will be able to do this, so perhaps that version of WordPress will be a better option for you. Should you decide to switch to that version, all the upgrades you bought from us can still be refunded at this point.
