How can I adjust the width and height of a dailymotion embed video?

  Whenever I copy and paste the embed code from Dailymotion and click ‘save draft’, WordPress strips the code and just leaves a link. If I just copy and paste the permalink or the shortcode, there’s no way for me to adjust the width and height of the player. Is there a way to do that with the shortcode?

  Hi there!

  The embed code from Dailymotion that will specify a video size won’t work as we don’t allow embeds of iframe or flash code on WordPress.com. With the shortcode, this allows you to embed these videos without needing to use those embeds. Here’s more information about posting Dailymotion videos:

  However, there isn’t a way to add a custom size to the video embed using the shortcode – the video will automatically be resized to the width of the parent container it’s posted in.
