How can I allow people to view a hidden page on my site?
-
I have just realised that a hidden page I thought people had access to on my site has been showing up as an error message.
For me this is a big problem at the moment and I need to fix it asap.
Can anyone help me with making a hidden page viewable to anyone who I send link to?
Cheers,
AaronThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It depends entirely on how you have hidden it. Is it published? If so, what is the URL? Does it show as Private or public?
-
the url is aaronmichaelband.com/album/
I have now made it public but it was set to private.
I would like to keep it private and have people be able to access it if they know the above url.

If you set it to Private then nobody but you can see it. Why don’t you just keep it public and use a custom menu and don’t include it (make sure your’e not ALSO using the Pages widget)? You could also make it Public but password-protected and have people ask you for the password.

You could set up a contact form so you could reply with the url one by one to people who contact you:

Yes, sorry, you’d need the page public but with a custom menu, just as rain said. They could reach you via the contact form…

“Why don’t you just keep it public and use a custom menu and don’t include it “
Awesome.
Thanks raincoaster. That is exactly what I needed to do.
