How can I apply my premium upgrade?
-
I recently deleted an old blog site I had. I upgraded to premium membership. Now, in creating a new blog, I cannot get it to recognize my premium membership. It keeps giving me the option to upgrade, but not the option to use what I have already purchased. How can I make sure to use my purchased premium membership when creating a new blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m happy to transfer your Premium bundle to a different blog. Would you like it transferred to kennybackhausdotcom.wordpress.com?
-
That was the old blog. I wanted to upgrade to premium so I could use the free domain name kennybackhaus.com. I didn’t create it yet because I didn’t want to pay the $18 it was asking for. I thought it would recognize that I had upgraded.

Upgrades are assigned to a particular blog, not account. When you purchased the upgrade, you purchased it for kennybackhaus.wordpress.com, but that site has since been deleted. Currently, the only site on your account is kennybackhausdotcom.wordpress.com.
When I move the Premium bundle to that blog, you can register the domain kennybackhaus.com for free (since it’s part of the bundle). Then, that domain will be assigned to kennybackhausdotcom.wordpress.com. Visitors will only see your custom URL (kennybackhaus.com), but you will see the .wordpress.com URL on admin pages when updating your site. Does that make sense?

jeremy, that would be awesome if you could move that upgrade. After that, I can go in and make everything how I want it. Sorry for the confusion, and for doing things a little backwards!

No problem at all! I have moved the Premium bundle to kennybackhausdotcom.wordpress.com. You can register your domain following the instructions here:
