How can I approve comments that arrive in my e-mail inbox?
-
I get e-mail notification of comments, but there’s no “approve” button.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Christopher,
Are the emails from comments made by users who have already commented on your blog? I looked in your settings and you set it so that if a commenter has already been approved for a previous comment they do not need to be approved again. You can check these settings by going to Settings > Discussion in your Dashboard.
Let me know if this is not what you are referring to.
Cheers!

Thanks for replying. The answer to your question is no. When someone comments, I normally get an e-mail notifying me. At the bottom of the message there’s usually an “approve” button. When I click it it takes me to a web page where I can confirm the posting and edit it. But what’s been happening lately is the message lands in my inbox, but there’s no “approve” button. The message isn’t posted on my blog, and I can’t find a way to approve it.

Hi Chris,
The comments can be approved by going to Comments in your Dashboard. If you go to Pending they will be there. Here is a direct link:

I recently received a comment approval notification with the button, so I’m wondering if there might be something to do with your email client. Currently, I use Gmail. Can you please forward your email without the Approve button to help@wordpress.com?
Thank you!
