How can I aquire a subdomain that isn't taken, but I can't sign up for it on wordpress?

Hello, I am having troubles signing up for a subdomain that is on wordpress. The only problem is that the subdomain isn’t taken and I can’t get it because the free option gives me a random selection of subdomains even when I want a specific one.

you did not tell us the name you want – but if it is reserved you need to find the account it is reserved for and get the name from them – if the site is taken – you need to ask the owner to give / sell you the domain

Hello auxclass. I want thewebsk.wordpress.com because I own the actual domain thewebsk.com and I am asking for the wordpress because I want to reserve it for copyright purposes in case someone tries to steal that subdomain on wordpress.

The address thewebsk.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved! But you can sign up and choose another one.
That blog URL is reserved for the account “thewebsk” – the account is 4 months old – you will need to contact the account owner if you want the URL – the account shows no activity in the forum and the blog name has not been used – so you have a bit of detective work to do since WordPress.COM will not give out contact info for any account or blog (privacy rules)

Thank you auxclass. I think I know who took the domain, but I don’t speak Slovakian. If it’s the same person I assume it is, then I have no luck. I guess it’s ok since it’s reserved, no one can take it at the moment unless they contact the account owner.
