How can I arrange my posts in an order I want?

Help Please… My site is not a formal blog site. I am using it as a site to display my postal history items. I need to arrange the posts in a order that fits this criteria. Can I do this? One other question while I am at it, when I use this site’s search engine my blog does not appear why?

You can order your posts by changing the date on them (which you do under Edit and on the right-hand side is a calendar. Click on it and change the date. “Newer” posts will be displayed on top.

It takes weeks and in some cases months for Google and the other search engine spiders to index your site. The way to start to get search engine attention is to verify the ownership of your blog with the three big search engines. But do be aware that until you create an archive of content (blog posts) by blogging on a regular basis it’s not likely that you will draw search engine attention.

I’ve been re-reading what you said again and I wonder if you are referring to the searchbox on your blog, that produces results only from your own blog. If so, then know that I visited your blog and typed “trans Atlantic mail” into it as a test, and it is working. :)

Tiimethief.. I was away from home for the holiday. I wanted to show my grandson my site but had a computer generated pw. of which I could not remember. I tried the home page search engine to try and locate the site and could not find it. I have since corrected the pw over site but was just wondering about why a search engine on the home site would note come up with the page. I am still trying to figure out how to arrange the posts though as the suggestion given earlier does not work. The calender being sited does not appear on my edit page… any ideas?

Your blog won’t come up on searches regularly until it’s a bit older.
The calendar icon is just to the left of the Write box on the edit or write pages, in the white sidebar.
