How can I auto-post timestamp to my posts?
-
I’ve seen http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_time before but I don’t know how I can configure the loop such that i can auto-add timestamps to each of my posts.

If you are talking about your wordpress.com blog you cannot edit the template and hence can’t do what you would like. You can edit each post’s timestamp when creating or editing them using the “timestamp” field on the right. As well, to make sure it is the right timezone, edit your Admin => Options for the timezone like (-7 for mountain time).
That is it I am afraid. If it is another blog that isn’t hosted on wordpress.com then check out http://wordpress.org/support/ as that is support for those blogs where you can edit templates.

Another thing, if you are talking about just “displaying” the time in the theme, you cannot change the template of the theme, so only themes are pre-configured to show the timestamp will do it. Forgot to mention that.
