How can I auto-publish my blog post to social media sites?

    I want my posts to automaticaaly appear on my google+ , facebook etc. when I publish to my blog. I clicked that the Sharing->Connect new service link and choose Google+. I marked the checkboxes etc. but when I publish the blog I don’t see it in Google+. There are some buttons at the bottom of my post to post on Google+ etc. but these are for readers coming to my site, correct. If I understand the funtion of the “Sharing” option, it should automatically post on Google+. What am I missing here?
