How can I avoid cropping my header image?
-
I have increased the width of my page and would like my custom image header to be the same width, but I can’t seem to get around the automatic cropping tool provided by WordPress which crops down the the old width. Any ideas as to how I can get avoid this? Thanks!

Once you modify the CSS, you can no longer us the custom header image function and have to put the header image URL directly into the CSS.

Hi thanks for this as i was also faced with the same issue.
So I’ve gone into the CSS function and loacted the header bit, but whatever coding i seem to insert doesn’t seem to like it.
Any tips? What would the coding be along the lines of?
Thanks in advance

You just replace the header.jpg with your new image’s uploaded URL, but it must be the right size already.
