how can I avoid my images from being dragged or downloaded?

    I would like to avoid having the photos from my portfolio, all the pics on my blog, from being “stolen” , dragged or downloaded. is there a way to protect myself from this happening?

    Hi Claudia,

    Currently, there is not a way to lock your images from being downloaded from your site at WordPress.com. Any visitor could potentially right-click an image and save it to their computer. The best way to prevent this is to use watermarks. It looks like you already have in some cases.

    As the creator and owner of the images, the content and images obviously belong to you. If you believe someone has stolen work from your site, you can certainly follow the steps here to counteract content theft:
