I want to back up my wordpress.com blog to my pc
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is there any free way to back up my wordpress.com blog? I am just starting out and not ready to go Premium where I can get plugins for that I believe. The blog is not large yet but has a lot of links and media on it that I would not want to have to go to all the trouble of putting back in should it get hacked. Any answers would be of great assistance thank you.

(1) The Safe Bet – Use an Offline Blog Editor
http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ as every post and page you create will produce a backup copy automatically on your own computer.
(2) If you provide full posts in the RSS feed then subscribe to it.
(3) Periodically Export Backup Copies and Save them to Disc
