  If we upgrade our website with a domain are we then allowed to be able to use HTML links? I need them for dynamically creating download links automatically. Otherwise I am stuck doing it manually. So if I purchese a domain will wordpress still block <Iframe> and <script>?

  You can use HTML in the Text editor without any upgrade. Just switch tabs from Visual to Text.

  Even with an upgrade, however, you will not be able to add executable code or iframes, as that is not supported on WordPress.com for security reasons.
