How can I become my blog's administrator?
-
I’m the broadcaster and media-relations director for the Syracuse Chiefs, a minor-league baseball team. A couple of years ago, our Assistant General Manager was fired by the team. I believe he’s still listed as administrator for our blog (URL below), however.
We’re planning on making many changes with the blog this year, and I was hoping I could take over as administrator since I’m in charge and he’s no longer with the organization. Is there a way to make that switch?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See here please: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
It’s important to know that companies, organizations, and groups of any kind do not own blogs. It’s likewise important to know that sharing login information is unsupported and discouraged.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
The blog’s actual owner has to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and transfer the blog to another username account.
If the log-in information is lost the blog’s owner must visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Bottom line: You will have to contact the site’s actual owner and have them transfer the site to your username account.

Thanks for the advice…as it turned out, it WASN’T the guy who got fired, it was another account – so all is good!
