How can I block someone who stalks my account?

    One person used to comment on my Posts, but he commented so much and in a way that scared me, so I deleted all of his comments. He then created another account and started commenting again. Can I block that person and if so, how do I do that? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to block anyone from seeing your site if your site is set to public, but you can blacklist someone from commenting on your site. To do that, go to Settings ->Discussion and add their username and email address to the comments blacklist section.
    Unwanted Comments and Comment Spam

    If the person is threatening you, also please consider reporting the matter to law enforcement in your area.

    Eigentlich muss man es der Person nur sagen, dass sie unerwünscht ist, offen und mit klaren Worten. Dann wird die Person schon von sich aus deinen Blog meiden. Aber wenn du der Person vorher immer gedankt hast für ihre Beiträge und diese als nützlich bestimmt hast, wird sich diese Person natürlich erstmal fragen, warum du jetzt so umdenkst und diese Person von dir stößt. Sie wird also in dich insistieren und sich vor den Kopf gestoßen vorkommen. Aber ich glaube, diese Person möchte von sich aus mit einer Person wie dir nichts mehr zu tun haben wollen, zumal, wenn du verbindliche Posts löschst und aus der Emotion dieser Person geschriebene Posts stehen lässt, um diese Person vorzuführen oder dieser Person zu schaden. Hinterhältigkeit zahlt sich nicht aus und wenn man dann noch als Berufswunsch die Polizei hat, ist man moralisch nicht dazu geeignet. Menschlichkeit wäre die Voraussetzung. LG PP

    But as long as the site is public, the person need not be logged in to see it. They could use any computer, any connection, … we’d have no way of knowing whether it was them or not.

    If there is anything on your site that you absolutely would not want that person to see, please consider making that information private.
