How can I cancel domain mapping & registration to get a refund?

    I went to the dashboard and followed the instructions to cancel my domain subscription.
    Here is the message shown on screen every time I try:
    “You do not appear to be the owner of this domain.”
    Help me cancel my Domain mapping and Domain Registration to get a refund. thank you

    We can assist you with this, but before we do so, I’d like to confirm that you really want the domain cancelled. Once a domain has been cancelled, there is no guarantee that you will be able to get it back in the future.

    If you have decided WordPress.com is not the right hosting option for you, you can still use your domain with another provider. You can also transfer your domain to a new registrar after 60 days.
