How can I cancel my account?

    I am not using my blog anymore, so I don’t want to pay any longer. How can I cancel my account and stop paying for it?

    Hi there,

    The products which you have with us are not set to auto-renew, so you will not be charged again for them.

    In regards to how you cancel your account, to delete your site with a custom domain upgrade, you’ll need to do one of the following:

    – move the domain upgrade to another WordPress.com site

    – transfer the domain registration to another domain registrar

    – fully cancel the domain (you will lose the ownership of the domain and there is no guarantee you can register it again), which I will have to do for you. If you’d like to go this route, respond with the full domain name which you’d like cancelled and I’ll take care of it!

    After the custom domain is unlinked from the site, you can use the site deletion tool to permanently remove the site. Here’s a bit more information about that:

    Please make sure to read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert the deletion of a site for any reason.
