How can I cancel my old domain name?

    I registered my blog under a new domain name and I’d like to cancel the old one so I don’t have to keep paying for both, but the directions listed to cancel a domain on this site don’t match up with the options I am actually given. Please help me cancel my old domain!

    Hi there!

    Is arobinsonmusic.com the old domain that you’re looking to cancel? If so, that domain was registered under a different WordPress.com account to the one you’re currently writing from.

    I’ve gone ahead to send an email to the address associated with the WordPress.com account the domain was registered under. If you can reply to that email, I’ll be happy to sort the cancellation out for you.

    Sorry if this is a bit of a hassle! We use email addresses to uniquely identify accounts and, to protect our users, we require proof of ownership when it comes to making big changes.
