How can I chage user name & blog address if tool is disabled?

  Sorry, hit enter too fast. I want to change my user name and blog address but keep getting “This tool is temporarily disabled”. When will it NOT be disabled or is there another way to get this done?

  I would like to have these changes made before promoting my blog, so I’m anxious to get this resolved.

  Hi,

  This is usually due to the WordPress staff working on those tools. As far as I know, there’s no timeline for this tool. I suggest waiting 24 hours, and if it still doesn’t work you could tag this post for Staff attention by adding “modlook” to the tags. Maybe they can provide a timeline?
