How can I change email/Facebook post settings re: content

Must prevent my emailed and facebooked posts from displaying entire post. By it doing that it prevents them clicking and viewing it on the site as they can read it in its entirely in the email or right on the facebook post cover!!! And I couldn’t find anywhere to change that. Somewhat on the facebook but it’s not easy. But nothing to change email settings.

One possible solution might be to add the “more tag” beneath your opening line of text.
