How can I change from journeyfitnesslakesaintlouis.com to onthegofitness.net?

I want to change my current domain name for my website to a different one that I already have a Google email with. I tried domain mapping which worked for the website domain change, but then I couldn’t receive emails with my email account, I could only send. I changed my DNS settings w/ enom back to the default so my email works. Is there another way to use my new domain name with my website besides domain mapping?

Hi there,
You’ll need to point your domain’s name servers to WordPress.com in order to use it with your WordPress.com site.
If you do that, and you use Google Apps for your email, you can add some custom DNS on this end to keep your email working. We have a guide for that here: Add Email through Google Apps

I tried to follow the directions for “Add Email through Google Apps” and the instructions to get the code for “google-site-verification” are for when you first set-up your google email. My email is already setup and I do not know how to get the code. Is there another way to get that?

If you already verified your domain with Google before, you may not need to do the verification steps again at WordPress.com. Can you try skipping those verification steps and entering the standard MX records mentioned in step #16 in those directions?
If you run into any trouble with that, or if your email doesn’t work without the verification step, please let me know and I can investigate it further for you!
