How can I "change" my blog to a different domain and hosting?
-
Hello everyone.
I just bought a domain and a hosting with a different hosting service than WordPress. I successfully exported my blog and everything is ok. The problem is that now I have two copies of an identique blog: on on wordpress (wordsinthebucket.wordpress.com), one on another hosting (wordsinthebucket.com). How can I let the wordpress one “point” to the other one? Shall I buy the “mapping service”? Or delete it?
Thank you in advance. Hope my question is clear.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com is the top level domain here and all blogs hosted by WordPress.com are on .wordpress.com sub-domains.
You can purchase a site redirect upgrade from wordpress.com
http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/You can set your wordpress.com blog visibility to private. To change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
