how can I change my domain from wix to WordPress

    I have domain https://www.paigunna.com I start from wix.com but it not support for my work I want to change to WordPress I don’t know can be change could you check for me

    Hi there,

    I see you have set up a free site at paigunna.wordpress.com. Is it your intent to get all set up on this end first (in private) and then when everything is ready you will launch the WordPress.com site to replace the existing one?

    If so I would not recommend moving your domain now, but to save that as your last step. This will allow you to keep that site online while you get everything ready on paigunna.wordpress.com. You can even use our Wix import tool to get a head start by bringing over any existing content you have: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-wix/

    Once you have everything as you like, then you can move your domain by following the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/incoming-domain-transfer/

    Please note that it is not possible to set a custom domain on free WordPress.com sites (those must use the free WordPress.com URL, and also display ads to help cover our costs) but you can upgrade to any of our plans, and they will include the option to set a custom address using paigunna.com.

    Because you appear to be setting up a travel blog (which is already looking awesome!) the Personal plan is probably the best fit and also our lowest cost option. If you choose the yearly (not monthly) option it will also include a free domain transfer. Once the transfer is up we will also add one free year of domain registration for added savings.
