How can I change my email address without getting a request to setup a new blog?

  I tried changing my email address, and I receive an email with a link that wants me to set up a new blog account. All I want to do is change my email address (from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff)). I do not want to set up a new blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can update your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

  I changed my email on all personal settings and subscribers are still getting notifications with the old email address.
