How can I change old content that appears in a description when I email someone?

I would appreciate it if somebody could assist me. I set up a WP account about ten years ago, and do not really use it. However, I now have a use for it. I changed all of my old links without any difficulty through the WP-admin feature. However, one thing still remains that I cannot seem to fix.
When sending a link to my sight through email, it brings up my old content summary of the old subject that I want to update and change. I can tell that it is something that I wrote that is embedded in perhaps a settings description. Could someone please advise me on how to find my brief sentences describing my topic so that I can change it? In advance, thanks so much. Bob.
