Under options > general, you can change the name of your blog (what appears at the top) as well as the tagline. After making your changes, click “update options.”

But how do I edit the size on the text? anf the fonts?

You cannot edit the size of fonts in headers or titles without purchasing the css editing upgrade and being prepared to do the work yourself http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-custom-css-upgrade/

You can change fonts in posts and on pages one at a time, without css upgrade http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/06/12/can-i-change-my-font-font-size/

Provided yours is not a “private” blog, you can link your wordpress.com username to your wordpress.com blog. This is how to do it:
Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile
in the right hand column find “website” and insert the complete url for your wordpress.com blog http://nameofmyblog.wordpress.com and then click “Update Profile” to save.

my header shows my blog title but not the tagline that ive saved -how do i get it to display the tagline under the title ??
