How can I change the background of a blockquote? (re: code blocks)
-
I’d like to create a blog containing various technical tutorials and it seems like WordPress will work extremely good, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the background color of a blockquote.
Also, are there any other tips/tricks to creating “code blocks”? I don’t need syntax (or programming language) color highlighting, but I would like a little button I can click on to change the selected paragraph into a shaded block or whatever. (seems like a block quote is pretty much what I’m looking for, but maybe with a different font, etc?)
Thanks for any help!

I’m sorry but that’s not available here at wordpress.com.
You can style your blockquotes any way you like – see codes for text color, size, and font, for spacings, for background color, for borders. From: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/06/19/formatting-text-pt-2/
