How can I change the color, and the size, of the font in the BODY of pages?

    I love the Sunspot Theme and how I have arranged my header photo and the colors. I am frustrated because the text of my “About” page, and other pages, is placed at the top of the Theme page, into my header photo and the photo competes with the text—making it difficult to read the text. I like the impact of the photo, as it spans all across the top of the page and I do not want to decrease the photo or put it to the side. If I could enlarge the font, and change the color of the font, to white or black, it would be easier to read the text against the photo. Or, if I could have the text start in background area below the photo, that would solve the problem of competition of the text with the header photo.
    I purchased the Custom Design program because I want to change the size and the color of the font for the main body of my blog. So far I have not been able to do that. There are many options for the different fonts and different colors of the other areas of the theme, but, I cannot find any way to change the text of the body of the blog and pages. I am looking into the CSS information to see if I can find out how to achieve what I want to do, and asking for help in the forums, but, I am disappointed that the option to do what I want is not part of the Custom Design or Theme program.

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having troubles with getting your site looking just how you want it! You’re right that in order to get things just exactly perfect, you likely will have to make use of the CSS coding which is available to you.

    As much as we would like to be able to have each theme be able to be fully customized just through the point and click customizer, because each theme is so different, that functionality isn’t available to us quite yet. Instead we have made what customization is possible through the simple customizer available, and for those who would like to further tweak their site they can do so through the CSS coding.

    Hi amightywp, Thank you for explaining why your site cannot, at the moment, achieve what I am desiring for my choice of Themes. I am pleased to know that I will be able to do more customizing through CSS coding. Thank you for giving me the link for the CSS Customization Forum.
