How can I change the font and words in my header?

  • Unknown's avatar

We figured out how to change the picture in our header image and decided on the theme we like the most. Then we decided on the font we liked best within the theme we chose. Now, we would like to change the title that appears on our page from saying “encountersinretail” to “Encounters In Retail”. We can not find an option that allows us to do so or anything in the wordpress tutorials or help topics that explains how we can do this. It’s probably a stupid question but we really can’t figure it out. Also, we do not know how to use CSS.

    Hi there,

To change your site title, you can go to your Dashboard > Settings > General and type “Encounters In Retail” in the text box next to Site TItle.

However, to change your header font, you will need to purchase the Custom Design upgrade. CSS knowledge isn’t necessary if you will be using the Custom Font feature.

You can test out your comfortability with the Custom Font feature, and see if there are any fonts that you like, by going to your Dashboard > Appearance > Custom Design > Custom Fonts.
